Orelsan, real name Aurélien Cotentin, is a versatile French artist, known mainly for his career as a rapper, but also for his work as a director and actor. Originally from Caen in Normandy, he began to gain recognition in 2008 with his album Perdu d'avance, followed by Le chant des sirènes in 2011 and La fête est finie in 2017. Some of his most popular songs include RaelSan, La terre est ronde" and Basique. Orelsan is known for his profound lyrics that address social issues, as well as his unique musical style that mixes rap and pop.
